Welcome to Cygnusoft's DNN2 portal server administration site.  That's sure a mouthful.

Unless you work at or with Cygnusoft, you probably got here by accident.  So let me tell you a little about this resource.  Cygnusoft builds applications for customers all over the world.  We use a broad variety of tools, and this is one of them.

This tool is called DotNetNuke.  It is an Open Source platform for building Internet portal sites.  As an example, this site was created in about 10 minutes.  And now that it is up, we can maintain it from any browser that can see it!  Most changes are made by adding pages, organizing how they appear on navigation menus, adding modules to those pages, and managing the site's "skin."

And what is a module?  It is a single feature that appears in its own rectangular region on a page.  This text is in a plain "Text/HTML" module.  There are modules that do Event Calendars, File Libraries, Threaded Discussions, BLOGs, News Feeds, and so forth.  Now that's a flexible platform.

The portal platform comes with a nice variety of modules.  And you can buy fancier ones, as well as a range of custom look-and-feel "skins," for under $100.  Now that's an inexpensive platform!

And the whole set of DotNetNuke tools is maintained by a community of rabidly dedicated programming geniuses, so there's always something powerful and pleasant to add to your DotNetNuke portal site.
